Students of all majors and interests are affiliated with a fraternity or sorority. One of the greatest aspects of Greek Life is that each chapter offers something different to each member. Students want to feel important and that they are appreciated. By knowing your members, it shows that you care and that this person matters to you regardless of the importance of their job.
Informally, you can get to know the potential member, and he can get to know you without the artificial limitations of a structured and pressured atmosphere. Interacting with individuals on a personal basis is the most effective way to recruit. Information about this may be contained in the File-Format links below. In case of further problems read the IDEAS help file.
Recruitment is a time for prospective members to learn about the sororities and fraternities at UE. Through this process, potential new members should take the opportunity to ask questions about Greek life and find out what each chapter has to offer. Recruitment is necessary to maintain an effective standing army in countries that have abolished conscription or which operate a volunteer military. To facilitate this process, militaries have established recruiting commands.
